This is a meat sheep breed from the UK. For the purposes of the present project, a population of approximately 300 animals managed by 3SR partners University of Edinburgh and Teagasc will be used in QTL validation. Genotypes will be based on analyses with 384 SNP arrays. Phenotypes will pertain to faecal egg count.
