This is a dual purpose (meat & wool) sheep breed from Argentina. For the purposes of the present project, a population of approximately 80 animals managed by 3SR partner Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia Agropecuaria will be used in QTL validation. Genotypes will be based on analyses with 384 SNP arrays. Phenotypes will pertain to faecal egg count.
